We’re excited to shine the spotlight on Andrea! 🚀 She has been with us since 2021 and has played an integral role in the success of our Mobility team. Learn more about Andrea and her career journey below!

When did you start at Dataprise?

I was a part of the first acquisition that DP went through, so that would be July 2021.

What different roles have you had at Dataprise?

When we were first acquired, I was the WWD Director of Account Management.  I was responsible for our Account Management team and had about 10 direct reports.  In an effort to align with Dataprise, we renamed our Account Management team roles to Service Delivery Managers, as that was more in line with their core job functions.  From there, we saw a need to consolidate the Service Delivery Managers and the WWD Service desk, and I was named Sr Director, Service Delivery for WWD.  I was in this role for about 3 months.  The current VP of Wireless Watchdogs was moving into a new role and offered me the position of VP, Mobility Services, in Jan 2024.

What’s a day in the life look like for your current role?

Everyday looks a little different.  I try to focus on supporting our leadership team with their different initiatives and work directly with our Client Success Coordinator on retaining clients and implementing new strategies that will help us retain them.  I also work closely with everyone to guide them on new processes, successful implementation of those processes, as well as ensure our team is delivering our services in an excellent manner.  I’m constantly looking to ensure we have the right people, the right strategy, the steps/plan to execute that strategy, and optimize our profitability.

What’s been your biggest success or accomplishment at Dataprise so far?

My biggest success/accomplishment has been being promoted to VP, Mobility Services.  I never in a million years thought I would be considered for this role.  It can be tough to be a woman in technology, but having the platform and the opportunity to take this role is my biggest accomplishment and I hope to impact the rest of the organization in a meaningful way as it relates to collaboration, client satisfaction, & operational effectiveness.

Do you have any advice for someone who is interested in a role like yours?

I never thought I would be in this role.  I always viewed myself as more of a right-hand person.  Don’t doubt yourself, and don’t be afraid to share ideas, collaborate, speak up when things need to be fixed, but also come up with possible solutions.  If you can find a mentor who will guide you as well, it’s a game changer.  Being able to work with the owner of WWD and VP of WWD gave me great exposure and insight into how a business needs to be run.  Don’t hesitate to ask questions, and most importantly don’t be intimidated by anyone.  We all have ideas, thoughts, processes that we can contribute to our organizations, which will allow us to grow and become better.
