When did you start at Dataprise?

I started at Dataprise in July 2016.

What different roles have you had at Dataprise?

When I joined Dataprise, I started as a Program Manager in the Operations department, where I focused on evaluating service metrics and recommending strategies to clients for improving operational efficiency. As the company expanded, the IT Operations Manager role was introduced, carrying many of the same responsibilities but with a stronger focus on technical services. As my career progressed, I was promoted to Service Delivery Manager, where I managed a larger customer portfolio and oversaw the delivery of all services, both technical and non-technical. During this period, I continued to develop my technical engineering skills, which ultimately led to my current role as a DevOps Engineer, a position that aligns with my passion.

What’s a day in the life look like for your current role?

In my role, I handle and respond to requests from different departments within my areas of responsibility, while also working on integration projects that address both internal requirements and client-facing initiatives. Additionally, I develop and manage our Dynamics CRM environment and oversee code deployments by reviewing, testing, and reporting with various tools. Each day brings something new, ensuring there’s never a dull moment!

What’s been your biggest success or accomplishment at Dataprise so far?

My most significant achievement at Dataprise has been the successful build, integration, and deployment of Dynamics CRM across the organization. This multi-year project involved extensive collaboration with various departments and represented a major transformation for the company. We successfully transitioned from a long-standing internal opportunity management platform to Dynamics CRM, which has greatly enhanced our operational efficiency and streamlined our processes. The project’s complexity and impact make it a standout accomplishment in my career.

Do you have any advice for someone who is interested in a role like yours?

Always stay curious! It’s impossible to know everything, so when you encounter new concepts, take the time to explore and understand them. New tools and technologies are constantly emerging that can simplify your work and make your life easier, so it’s important to stay engaged with the DevOps community.
